Excursion - 16th April, 2010 Singapore Art Museum ( consent form )
We are planning a trip to the Singapore Art Museum on 16th April, 2010 (Fri) 9.00am – 11.30am for the Apple and Watermelon class children. This trip aims to enhance our children’s classroom learning based on April’s curriculum theme of “Paintings”. Tangerine class children will be doing another art-related trip on the same day which is more developmentally appropriate.
At the Singapore Art Museum, our children will be participating in a program which will introduce art to young children so as to build their interest in the subject. The program will last for one and a half hours and alternates between a guided tour with story-telling session held in the galleries, followed by a hands-on art activity. The program will be conducted by the museum’s experienced facilitators.
Please complete the consent form for your child’s participation in this excursion and return the form to us by Thursday, 25th March, 2010. The cost of this excursion is $20 per child.
On the day of the excursion, please dress your child in the school’s T-Shirt, equip him with a water bottle on a sling and comfortable walking shoes. Please ensure that your child is in school by 8.00am if he needs to have breakfast in school and no later than 8.30am otherwise. The school bus will leave at 9.00am and return to the school by 11.30am. Half day children will have their lunch before dismissal at 12.30pm and program for full day children will resume after lunch.
