Past Events - Parent Involvement
Helen, Tegan's mummy, loves to create scrapbooks in her free time - remembering memorable events in a creative manner. On 24 Feb (Thu) at 9.00am, Helen came to show the Apple class children some of her personal scrapbooks and explained what scrapbooks are for and how to make them. Thereafter, the children tried making a page about their favourite family activities. The Apple Class children had a whale of time and we thank Helen for bringing in her resources and sharing this artistic and creative activity with the children. More pictures on Facebook.
The children enjoyed our Inaugural Parent Performance on 25 Feb 2011! Children from all levels watched these performances:
- Jun Yu's mum, Leng Leng, told 3 Chinese stories about morale values. The children paid much attention to the stories and learnt about not lying, sharing and filial piety.
- Audrey Lim's mum, Phua Hwee, played a few favour...ite tunes on the keyboard accompanied by Audrey on percussions. The children sang along to their familiar tunes. Some children were invited to try out the percussion instruments that Audrey brought along and had a whale of time.

Mid-Autumn Festival
