Halifax Montessori Seminar For Parents

Role of parents in Children's Language Developement (2.30pm & 4.30pm)

LearningDr. Maria Montessori is an early advocate that the first six years of a child’s life is most crucial in the child’s development, especially in language acquisition. There are many ‘sensitive periods’ during this stage of the child’s life which indicates their optimal interest and receptiveness of a particular skills and knowledge. As parents, how can you identify and capture your child’s sensitive periods? What role do you play in your child’s language development?

Come and learn about the role that you, as parent, play in your child’s language development and how you can help your child flourish through a 1-hour workshop with Educationist Ms. Martha Monahan and gain some insights into your child’s world. The seminar will commence at 2.30pm and a repeat session at 4.30pm.
