27th August, 2009 Dear Parents, Excursion – 4th September, 2009 Japanese Association of Singapore Corresponding to September’s curriculum of “All About Japan”, we will be making a trip to the Japanese Association of Singapore (JAS) at 120 Adam Road to experience some Japanese cultural activities on 4th Sep, 2009 (Fri) 9.00am – 11.30am. Members of JAS will demonstrate and guide our children in origami (paper folding) and koto (traditional music) activities. Please complete the consent form for your child’s participation in this excursion and return the form to us by Monday, 24th August, 2009. The cost of this excursion is $10 per child. On the day of the excursion, please dress your child in the school’s T-Shirt, equip him with a water bottle on a sling and comfortable walking shoes. Please ensure that your child is in school by 8.00am if he were to have breakfast in school and no later than 8.30am. The school bus will leave at 9.00am. and return to the school by 11.30am. Half day children will have their lunch before dismissal at 12.30pm and program for full day children will resume after lunch. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
