Dear Parents of Kindergarten Class children,
Consent for your child’s participation at Graduation 2009 (Reply Slip)
The Graduating Ceremony for class of 2009 will be held on 5th December, 2009 (Saturday) from 2.00pm – 4.00pm in the Banquet Room within The Grassroots’ Club at 190 Ang Mo Kio Ave 8, Singapore 568046. All children from the Kindergarten Class (graduating or otherwise) will be involved in song & dance performances prior to the scroll presenting ceremony for graduating children. We hereby seek your consent for your child to participate in the performances at The Graduation 2009.
All children in the Watermelon class will be involved in at least one performance. You are invited to grace this function and enjoy your child’s and his classmates’ performance. Your child may not be graduating this year but we encourage his participation so that he is aware of and will understand the meaning of graduation. He may look forward to his own graduation in time to come.
The children need to report in school on graduation day at 11am for dressing up and rehearsal. Dressing information will be given at a later date. They will have lunch and be transported to The Grassroots’ Club by school bus. With this notice, we are starting to sell tickets for this event which is $28.00 per person including afternoon tea reception. Seating will be in round tables of 10 and the school will be allocating seats and table on a first come first serve basis. Please indicate your purchase in the attached reply slip or email and return to us by 6th November, 2009. Performing children do not require a ticket.
